The Number 33:
The number 33 is what numerologists call a “Master Number”—one that possesses significant spiritual power that encourages healing, harmony, and humanitarianism. These are qualities that we at LXMI stand behind and it’s apt, then, for our new face oil to be sustainably sourced in partnership with Conservation International and other fair-trade, organic suppliers that promote conservation and empower native communities.

Partnership with Conservation International

With LXMI 33 being our strongest act of environmental commitment to date, we have partnered with environmental non-profit Conservation International and the Trio Tribe in South Suriname to protect a rare kind of brazil nut oil sourced directly from the Alalapadu community of Suriname in the Amazon.

This project enables the Alalapadu community to protect 235,000 hectares of virgin rainforest including wildlife. That's the equivalent of approximately 4.8 football fields of Amazon rainforest per LXMI 33 bottle! The landmark agreement not only improves the livelihood of the people in the Alalapadu community, but also helps save the planet’s largest reserve of rare plants, essential to our future.

Founded in 1987, Conservation International works in more than 30 countries on six continents to ensure a healthy, prosperous planet that supports all. The non-profit uses science, policy, and partnerships to protect the nature that people rely on for food, fresh water and livelihoods.
